Hello,

I submitted all documents today and got within few hours a reply that they need some more details, even if I sent them already, I will submit them again, I am confused about the following:

"**Certificate of entry and exit date From National Immigration Agency"

**Is this the Visa out of Thailand stamp (coming from there) and the Entry stamp of Taipei? ...because I sent a picture already of this from the beginning.

Any idea?

They also requested bank statement, which I all sent to them...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the documentation required for their visa application, specifically regarding the 'Certificate of entry and exit date' requested by the National Immigration Agency. They are confused if this refers to their visa stamps from Thailand and Taipei, despite having submitted a picture previously. The community offers insights, suggesting that this certificate is an official record of entries and exits from their home country, which may need to be obtained in person. They also point out that the authorities can sometimes request repeated submissions of documents irrespective of what has already been submitted.

This is why I was glad to go in person in Taipei. I had a feeling they would be more demanding with online applications.

I wish you a good final decision because they are a little bit rigids

As Elias replied already, have to go to the NATIONAL IMMIGRATION AGENCY (can find it on Google maps), they will give me a certificate!

I asked the embassy and they said they need this as the stamp could be from anyone (I would not tell them that on the bottom of each page is also the passport number)

It seems now that after the new e-visa system they ask foreigners to go to NIA to obtain certificate. Let us know how it went. I found this info online. Maybe it will help 🙂

I’ll send them the last 5 months which indicates my salary and 2 bank statements (with different amount on, but together more than 18k €)

I will update asap, but waiting for the company papers right now 🙈

It's weird, I submitted my company registration overseas...then they asked for 2 further documents. One being payslips. The other being company registration document - so I just submitted the same document again. Seems like some of the embassy staff are just requesting docs randomly without looking properly to cover themselves. Be prepared for that I suppose.

that's 100% what they do. I submitted all correct documents as a company owner with a clear covering letter explaining and they asked for a letter from my employers HR department

It's the (insert name of the country where you applied) official record of entries and exits. I was also requested such a record from Korea (my country) back in the past when I applied for a tourism visa, and when I applied for the DTV I submitted it as well, without they asking. They want to see two things: one, that you're not in Thailand, two, that you're where you claim to be.

You get it from the (insert country) Immigration office.

Hi, you may use a copy of your arrival online form, filled up and submitted on or before your arrival in Taipei. Departure (from Taipei) is also noted in that form. Hope it helps

Highlight the Taiwan entry stamp and date and the date the stamp is good until. Show the complete passport page, don't zoom in on the stamps.

Hmmmm 🤔 seeing this question twice today on the forum.

Could it be the entry stamp into Cambodia with a valid ending date noted on the immigration stamp placed in your passport ???

Just a Guess ...
