How can I obtain a certificate of entry and exit date from the Taiwan National Immigration Agency?

Applied at Taipei online.

Not sure how to get the certificate of entry and exit date from Taiwan National Immigration Agency?

Also for proof of income…I don’t have any proof. I played online poker before, and I had bought a little bit of crypto years ago, should I just take a picture of my crypto wallet and write a description of why I have the money? I wrote “retired 40-60k” for my occupation and income. The amount I have in my wallet is several multiple of that so it makes sense?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about obtaining a certificate of entry and exit from the Taiwan National Immigration Agency after applying for a visa online in Taipei. They also express uncertainty about suitable proof of income, considering using a crypto wallet statement and an explanation of their funds, as they have no traditional proof of income. The conversation includes comments from others sharing their experiences with the visa process, specifically regarding proof of income and viable options like the soft power visa.

From my own experience trying to use the soft power route in Taipei and other accounts about Taipei applications, they do not simply accept the 500K in accounts. They tend to require proof of income. It seems like their willingness to accept proof of funds without income is at their discretion.

Isn’t this the soft power route? A bit confused by the “year and a half study schedule?” What do they mean by it?
Cissi *********
@Felice ****
it says "half a year" not "year and a half"... It is pretty common that the embassies ask for muay thai classes over a 6 month period.

lol you are absolutely right, I read that wrong 😅 thanks for correcting me!

yes soft power route

If you don't have proof of income, just choose a soft power option.

I have bank statement but no proof of income
Sam ******
Anonymous participant you only need statement for soft power.

@Sam *****
its not true soft power requires 500k thb too.

@Sam *****
I think he did apply with a soft power option (see the 2nd request).

You need to go the soft route to learn Muay Thai ... Then you just show money in a checking account and don't need any income. Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium is well versed in this visa and has all the forms if your plans are in the pattaya area. This solves the "6 months study course"

@Christopher *******
no they also asked for 500k thb

Hihi75 I did show my bank statement but they are asking proof of income too which I don’t have
Christopher ********
Hihi75 everyone needs to have 500k bht. If you do soft power you need paperwork + 500k in the bank. If you do digital nomad you need proof of income from work, proof your job is remote work, and 500k in the bank.

@Christopher *******
you don't seem to understand... The OP DID apply with a soft power option... The embassy is asking him to provide "proof of income" as additional document.
Christopher ********
@Cissi ********
that's not possible as you don't need any income for the soft power option. It's very clear.
Cissi *********
@Christopher *******
well it is possible! Just check the picture that the OP added in his post.

There have been several reports of embassies asking to see income as additional information... Just search this group and see for yourself.

Yes, there is no formal requierment to show anything other than the 500k when you apply via soft power.

BUT the embassy can still ask for this information IF they want to ensure you are able to support yourself. You can keep repeating "you don't need any income for the soft power option" a hundred times IF you want... That doesn't change the fact that they did indeed ask the OP for this!

@Cissi ********
or the applicant made an error in his application ... This is more likely, as no embassy will ask a soft power for income - but they require tax returns and income statements for digital workers ... Check all the group's and especially the Thai embassy website, they won't ask for income for soft power. They didnt ask for income, but bank statemnents in the original post, so the applicant must not have uploaded 6 months of statements. But why your arguing with me is confusing as I answered the op questions - no one needed your input, at least not me.
Cissi *********
@Christopher *******
I'm not ecactly arguing with you... just trying to make you understand.

Your reply to the OP was to go for the soft power route and you keep repeating that he don't need proof of income... How does that help the OP?

The OP did NOT make a mistake. Even the 2nd request about lenght of study indicates that.

As I wrote SOME embassies DO ask for income even for soft power applications. There's been several posts of this, especially from Taipei (I will add one as an example).

So you don't like/want my input... then stop arguing back!

I should add I’m going the soft power route but they’re still asking

Anonymous participant just Taipei want income for soft power, I got rejected from Taipei and then i applied in Manila , without any questions about the income, just the money which i have in the bank account
Christopher ********
Anonymous participant there is no income required for soft power, but you have to have seasoned bank account - each embassy a little different. But your soft option should provide paperwork for classes. The entry and exit parts might be poor photos - they want the whole page - not zoomed in, or just the photo of the stamp. You might want to upload all the pages of your passport to fix this.
Cissi *********
@Christopher *******
well, there is no income requierment when you apply, but in the OP's case they clearly asked him to submit this information...
Mat ******
I have exactly the same with the entry and exit, I have no idea what they want
John **********
@Mat *****
I'd guess your entry stamp from immigration shows the date you entered and how long you can stay for?
Dennis *********
@John *********
but no name. Stamp could be anybody’s, right?
John **********
@Dennis ********
i suspect they'd want the page in your passport containing it as the perforations match your passport number

there is no exit date though, although it says 90 days. when I sent the document, I zoomed in on it. Didn't have the full page
John **********
Anonymous participant try sending the full page. 90 days provides the exit date, basic maths
Dennis *********
@John *********
yes if you circle passport number at bottom

@John *********
that's my guess too

@John *********
I sent exit stamp from Thailand and entry from Taipeh including how long I can stay, therefore I’m very confused
Wannikea *********
@Mat *****
don't submit what they don't ask for, simply submit your Taiwan visa and entry stamp with the dates highlighted for entry and permission to stay.
