TLDR : Answer Summary
When leaving Thailand on a Non-O visa, you must apply for a re-entry permit ahead of your flight. This can be done at the immigration office or at the airport, taking about 15-20 minutes at the airport. The common requirements include submitting the TM 8 form, providing a photo, and paying a fee of 1,000 Thai baht. It is not explicitly stated whether a return ticket or additional documents are needed, but it is advisable to check with immigration for any further requirements.
