Oops, I put the departure date 5yrs later from my intended arrival date on the dtv application (Approximately 1800+ days)

Already applied.

Has anyone got approval in this case? Or has been rejected to try again?

It’s Embassy in London.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user mistakenly applied for a DTV visa with a departure date set five years later than their intended arrival date. They inquired if anyone had faced a similar situation regarding approval or rejection. Community comments suggested mixed experiences, with one user stating it may not be a problem since the date is not crucial, while another reported being rejected. The ambiguity in the response hints at uncertainty in the application's handling.

It shouldn’t be a problem. You have to leave every 180 days if you don’t want to extend your DTV visa in the country. Extending a DTV visa in the country has never been easy; the best way is to re-enter Thailand.

Not really an essential field, and these dates are intended/proposed, with no duty to abide by. Pretty sure it's gonna fly under the radar.

I think nobody has ever done that 😐
