I filled out the form saying I'd be in Thailand by today. But the visa is taking longer than I expected to be processed. Do you think it'll get rejected because of that? đ¤

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the potential rejection of their visa application because the processing time is longer than expected, even though they indicated they would be in Thailand by today. Comments from the community clarify that many applicants receive their eVisa after arriving, and the visa's approval date will align with the actual approval rather than the intended travel date. They emphasize that it's a common situation and suggest waiting for the visa approval.

If you canât enter Thailand without a visa (as many nationalities canât) youâll just have to wait until itâs approved.
Many people who apply for a visa can enter without one but they donât get it in time so enter visa exempt, only to have to exit and re enter to activate the visa.
Many embassies will work on a âneed to be issuedâ by date according to when you apply but that wonât guarantee youâll get the visa in time. Sadly itâs just a wait and see process. You may get it in time but you may not.

They will give start date from the day of approval, donât have to worry what you entered as that is your possible date of travel based on visa approval, wait for visa

Many people receive their evisa after they already arrived in Thailand because it took longer to process that expected.
