I'm moving and obviously changing my address. What is the form I need from immigration? Can I download it? And what does my landlord need to do? I am the first foreigner he has rented to so the more info I have the better. Thank you in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
When moving in Thailand, you need to complete the TM30 form to report your change of address. Depending on your local immigration office, a TM28 might also be required, although many offices may not require it. It's essential for your landlord to assist in this process, as they must file the TM30 form, or you may obtain their consent to do it on your own. Typically, you'll need a lease agreement, the landlord's house book, a copy of the landlord's ID, and a copy of your passport. It's also a good idea for your landlord to be present during the filing to answer any questions from immigration.

You need to report your residence. Your Landlord should do it but sometimes it is easier to do it yourself. At my office I required lease agreement, house book of landlord, house book of rented property, copy of landlord ID card signed, copy of passport. TM 30 form completed and signed by landlord. Tgen they also needed to speak to my landlord while I was in the office. No idea what was said. Got my proof of notification to keep in passport.

Make sure that your landlord is happy to do the tm30 or he can give you the power to do the tm30

If not then you may have to move

Depends on the office. A TM30 needs to be filed. Your office may want a TM28. Many don’t these days.

These are the requirements for the Phuket office. Yours may differ.
