I know I am asking this question a bit early but I want to prepare myself for my next extension. I am on Non-o(Based on thai child). All these years I have extended showing 400000 in bank account. This year my salary is 40000 (net is around 38000 after cutting the social security and WHT). I have work permit also.

I want to know if i want to extend based on my salary this year, what financial documents do I need to give to the immigration? I'm asking because officers does not seem interested to answer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks about the necessary financial documents needed to extend their Non-O visa based on salary, pointing out current confusion regarding what to provide to immigration. They have a work permit and have been extending their visa previously using a bank balance, but now wish to use their salary for the extension. Comments emphasize the importance of obtaining specific documentation from the employer, as requirements can vary by immigration office, and suggest that clear communication with the employer is essential.

And what you should consider if for any reason they terminate employment or you have a accident and cannot work your visa is dead. I'd leave it alone.

As you can see in that image grab of the requirements using employment inside thailand, there is a fair amount of documentation required from your employer.

Unfortunately, many employers are unwilling to provide it to their employees :/

Definitely talk to them about the things mentioned on that link I jumped you (the image grab) because without their help you won't get an extension with proof of monthly income based on employment inside thailand

It's good you're asking early.. That gives you time to prepare :) (y)

You're going to have to get them "interested" giving you the answer, because the document requirement can be somewhat immigration office specific.

This is from the bangkok immigration website
