TLDR : Answer Summary
A 14-year-old Thai citizen traveling from Australia to Thailand with a Thai passport needs to follow certain entry protocols. Although Thai nationals face fewer restrictions, she must still apply for the Thai Pass. Importantly, unlike foreign travelers, she does not require travel insurance. It's advisable to check the official Thai Pass website and contact the Thai embassy for detailed guidance, especially since she will be traveling alone, with her mother waiting for her in Thailand.

It will be nice once Thailand wakes up and does away with the TP and all other covid restrictions. I may well be ashes by then.

Rules are different for Thai nationals

Easier and less restrictions

Check Thai pass official site and contact Thai embassy in your country via email

Very helpful

Thai nationals also DO NOT need to show proof of a PCR test upon arrival

Only during their hotel stay

Day 1 & 5

So back to my original comment

It is easier and cheaper for Thai nationals to return or come to their own country

Check TAT website and Thai Pass official website if you aren't convinced

Thai nationals, entitled to government health coverage, are not required to obtain an insurance policy.
