TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an Englishman living in Thailand with a Thai girlfriend and their daughter, inquires about obtaining a passport for his daughter to travel to England. Community responses suggest that she should have both Thai and UK passports for ease of travel. For children under 14, a visa is typically not required for UK passport holders. Guidelines from the British Embassy provide a clear path to obtaining a British passport, and documentation needed includes birth certificates and identification of both parents. It is also noted that she should leave Thailand on her Thai passport, as the British passport will not have an entry stamp upon departure.

You can also get your daughter a British birth certificate. It comes in very handy whilst living in UK.

Easyvto get an English passport. All is done at Trendy building on soi 13 sukhumvit. Just need all the relevant docs and an appointment. There's agents who will do it all for you but it's simple enough.

Get a Thai passport as well and then its visa free travel pretty much anywhere in the world but definitely between Thailand and England.

I made this for my half English daughter last year. All you need is your passport, your birth certificate and that of your girlfriend and daughter.

She will need to leave Thailand on her Thai passport as she will have no entry stamp on her new British passport then if you want to she can return on either up to you.

The British Embassy has guidelines on registration for obtaining a British passport and it is fairly straightforward regardless of age, providing she qualifies ๐Ÿ‘

she can leave on her British passport if they take her birth certificate

interesting, maybe th the rules have changed as I know on a previous occasion a relative was refused to let her daughter travel with a Thai passport no mention of a birth certificate, resulting in a mad dash back to the airport in her home city to get the daughters Thai passport and the reason was No entry Stamp, but the birth certificate does make sense in this situation ๐Ÿ‘

yes the birth certificate shows why there's no entry stamp my son travelled last week like this and it went ok ๐Ÿ‘
