I know it’s been asked a million times but when applying for dtv in London do you need a confirmed flight and accommodation booking or a proposed booking if anyone who has applied recently has info it would be much appreciated
Answer summary
When applying for a Thai visa in London, the requirements regarding flight and accommodation bookings can vary. Some applicants have reported being asked for confirmed flight tickets, while others were not required to present accommodation proof if they had other arrangements, such as owning a condo. It appears that expectations may change, and it is advisable to be prepared for either scenario. To avoid conflicting information, consider consulting directly with the embassy or a reputable agent.

This is why I'm leaving this group and only talking to well reviewed and respected agents from now on. Every single question results in a mass of contradictions and arguments, and everyone thinks they're right.
You might also wanna consider making an appointment at the embassy or immigration office before you apply.
You know, to get some accurate information instead of all this bolx.
The online application requested a flight number. A flight e-ticket was then requested as additional documentation when I applied. They advised booking a refundable ticket.
Typically during the application you put a proposed/intended entry date and flight. But more and more embassy has been asking for additional documents such as confirmed flight tickets, they also ask for a letter stating you will remain in the jurisdiction until the approval or rejection. That doesn't mean that you have to get tickets for the date you intended to arrive, but just be prepared that they may request confirmation during the process.
