May I kindly ask for your advice — if I am already in Thailand, am I still eligible to submit a DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) application from here? Or must the application be submitted from outside the country?

Like some others have mentioned, you have to travel to another country to apply for the DTV visa. Popular destinations near Thailand are Vietnam, Philippines and Laos.

That being said, the country you should choose to apply from also depends on your nationality. Generally, applying from your home country is recommended (unless you're Singaporean, Malaysian or Japanese).

You can't apply from inside Thailand. You have to travel to another country and apply using the consulate that serves the location you are in, then remain there until your application is completed
