Hey guys

When applying for DTV outside of Thailand, in one of other asian countries around

Do we need to show them a plane ticket for Thailand ?

Even if we’re not sure that our visa will get approved and when ?

And do we need to show them also a proof of hotel or rental contract for a house in Thailand ?

It’s not making a lot of sense for me

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa outside of Thailand, you do not need to show a plane ticket or proof of accommodation, as these are not required by the application process. You can simply enter the travel plans you intend to follow.

no and no. Just input the travel details you intend to follow.

If you haven't signed up for the e-visa application portal, then do so and you'll see that they don't require proof of your travel plans.

Anonymous participant They do give notice of the interview so you have time to get it if they want proof.

Anonymous participant Only heard about a couple of interviews. As I said it's unlikely you will be asked. If you lived in Thailand, married to a Thai, are types of reasons for an interview.
