What documents do I need to provide for proof of location when applying for a Thai e-visa from Bali?
I am currently in Bali. When I arrived here, I used an automatic gate at the airport immigration, therefore, my passport was not stamped. I want to apply for an e-visa for Thailand, what document do I need to submit for proof of location? Is a hotel reservation sufficient? Thanks
Answer summary
To apply for a Thailand e-visa while currently in Bali, you'll need to provide proof of your location. A hotel reservation alone may not suffice; it is advisable to obtain a letter from the hotel confirming your check-in and stay. You may also want to contact the Thai embassy for specific requirements regarding your e-visa application.

Not sure about Bali but a friend had to get a letter from the hotel stating she had checked-in and was residing at the hotel when she applied in Kuala Lumpur last month after they started using the evisa system. (They wouldn't accept just the reservation booking).
You're best contacting the embassy to find out what they will want as proof.
