It means I only need a selfie of Vietnam and a shopping purchase of Vietnam?

No need the stamp of Entry and exit certificate?

Because it supposed to be 5 work days get approved

But due to the Vietnam national holiday it delayed.

Means I only have this document a few days ago . If it’s ok to submit it?or I need come back to Vietnam again

Thank for your guys attention. I really need your advice

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about submitting a selfie of themselves with a recent shopping purchase in Vietnam as part of a document request while their visa application is pending approval. They are unsure if they also need to provide an entry and exit certificate or if a selfie taken a few days ago is sufficient, especially after encountering delays due to a national holiday. Community responses indicate a strong likelihood that providing current proof of presence in Vietnam, along with the selfie and shopping receipt, is necessary to avoid suspicion of their application's authenticity.

Which invoice has a name on it? You would have to go to an electronics store and buy something there and then get an invoice with your name because of the warranty, but if you just go to the supermarket and buy a cake or something like that, you don't get an invoice with your name on it

You are supposed to stay in Vietnam until a decision is made. If you’re not there and therefore can’t prove that you are it’s possible your application will be denied.

A question - did they request this prior pending approval status or after?

I think your only chance at pulling this off is to fly back there now and do the photo unless you are really good at editing photos and can make something up.

Good luck brother, hope it all works out for you.

Don't worry about all the boot lickers in the comments that are happy you got caught

Anonymous participant 659 Being "really good at editing photos" might not be the best idea for solving this. I am sure there is a law against submitting fraudulent information

Anonymous participant - 1. You would need to convince the embassy that your medical issues forced you to leave. That might be hard to do. It would probably need to be something very serious that could not be addressed locally. If that serious, they might have concerns with you moving to Thailand, as how will it be dealt with there? Even if you have an amazing excuse why you had to leave, medically, there is a good chance that they will still reject, as they on not big on exceptions. Worst case is you get rejected and reapply again. However. What is confusing is the statement that you left Vietnam and are not in Thailand either. Where are you? And why didn’t you just apply from that location in the first place?

As you know, you were not supposed to leave Vietnam while you visa was being processed. You decided to do so anyway. Now the embassy for some reason has belief you are not there and wants proof that you are still there. Even if you go back, they might later ask for each page of your passport, which would show exit/entry stamps.

On serious note I think proof of where are is what comes down to. People can say they resident and submit bills with home address etc but truthfully is that where they are. Maybe some spy’s lol 😂

So you went back to Thailand, did you submit the TDAC. Hopefully this will mean they can now track who leaves a country before the approval of the visa and reject it.

is it possible that the stamping out, when you leave Vietnam will be forwarded to the embassy?

No they will not share that info. I had thought maybe Thailand new by entering there or the new TDAC but it seems not. He has probably just been very unlucky.

They are looking for proof you have remained in the jurisdiction you applied for the visa as you are meant to do. You need show you are there in the moment, not some days ago

Sounds like from movies, buy a local newspaper and take a selfie with it 🤣 crazy.... I guess many people have been trying to cheat on the application, now they are reacting... even saw 1 post about them calling an employer to verify.. well its good, but this idea of newspaper made me laugh 😝

Yes. Better go back to vietnam again and selfie the purchase current date.

If submitted a few days ago, it will go to pending approval and then may get rejected.

I understand that.

But, they want to confirm that you are still in vietnam or not now.

If you submit few day ago document. It may be suspicous that you are not in vietnam and visa rejection risk would be high.

"Proof of life" 🙂 🙂 They are asking for this to be up to date ie where you are right now. They expect you to be in Vietnam (If you are in Thailand they just might know it from their system)
