What should I do if my 500,000 baht proof for a visa application was rejected?
Ok I've gone through the paper work and realised it not too bad but im struggling with the 500,000 baht proof. I submit all the bank statements with clear explainition and totals. Step by step guide.
They seem to have rejected it. I'm not sure what to do?

According to your previous post they also asked you for 6 months of income/payslips highlighted and your income tax returns for the last 2 years. Whichever Embassy you are using go to their particular web page and find out the total they wish to see in the local currency. Of course if you're showing the 500k in a Thai Bank statement it would need to be 500K baht minimum.

Does your name match your passport that you submitted? Is it clear in the doc?
Also are you on the 500K border or you well above that? They have their own definition of 500K (12K eur or 17K usd etc)

It's 15k USD. If you don't have that then honestly why even travel. It's basically just showing you aren't completely broke. But having only 15k is pretty much the same as completely broke.

I just paid off my condo in Georgia if you must know. So yes I'm cash poor but asset rich...I have a good job online I don't need to worrying about earning more. But I guess for you having $

Thailand is notorious for making Visas difficult. Great country. Great people (mostly) but the Visa thing is a headache. I was lucky in life and did well, I love Thailand, but after living here 4 years I started moving around and looking at easier places to live. Heading back to the Philippines next month. Will spend Christmas in the USA. And then unsure. Maybe Thailand. Maybe not.

where are you applying? There's no guarantee that the consulate uses the same exchange rate as you so you should always have a bit of padding and some consulates specify required amounts in their own currency. Also you can't use screenshots, you need to provide actual pdf statements downloaded from the bank, if you have multiple pdf files you need to combine them before uploading
