I am applying for DTV workcation. I am short of 15k baht on November bank statements because I needed to shoulder the payment of my company laptop but they reimbursed it on December. Is it okay to continue my application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant inquires about the eligibility for the DTV workcation visa despite being short 15,000 baht on their November bank statements due to a company laptop payment, which was reimbursed in December. Responses vary: some suggest strict rules may disqualify them, while others steer towards the importance of the consulate's requirements and the possibility of just applying. A detailed look at consulate policies and demonstrating incoming payments on bank statements is advised.

If applying from the UK, then you will probably be fine if your final closing balance is above 500k - that was the same position as me. As a tip, highlight the incoming salary payments on your bank statements (along with a note explaining) aligned with payslips to avoid the need for providing further info later

Just apply, you can file the bill and ask reimbursement of the company when all goes wrong. After all, they where late with payments.

A strict interpretation would mean that you’re ineligible but in the end it depends on the embassy or consulate that you’re applying to. Some just care about your most recent statement while others want you to meet or exceed the 500k threshold for

months.

Well that would all depend on which consulate that you're applying through and their policy, So go to the website of that particular consulate and look at their requirements.
