Hi guys , I am new to this group, so sorry for reposting questions answered previously. I stay in Thailand and have a rental contract for a condo here, but would like to apply for the DTV . Can I use the contract with my name and address in Thailand for the DTV application or does it need to be an address outside Thailand? . I don’t have an address in my home country anymore. Thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they can use their rental contract in Thailand for applying for a DTV visa, given that they no longer have a permanent address in their home country. Responses indicate that applicants must be outside Thailand to apply and should provide an address from their current location.

You need to be outside Thailand when you apply so use the address of where you stay in wherever you are

I think it would be a great idea for you to read posts from the last few weeks to understand what is needed and has been successful to apply for the DTV.

some people need help, some people accept help, some people understand help, some people refuse help, some people can't be helped, some people aren't worth helping, some people are thankful for help, some just yelp, some people wouldn't know what help is, some people are beyond help, some can't open a cereal box, others try to outfox, some people want other people to do their help for them, some people need a hand, others a lobotomy, some people are just a waste of time. Some days I just can't be bothered.

“Give a man a fish”?

That’s a Chinese proverb not Thai. I guess I could have told you to google it but this just seemed more helpful . 🧐

maybe you don't comprehend or know the complete or partial proverb.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day,

Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.

all Thais? 😂 Again I could help you understand how diverse the population of Thailand is, but you can just google it. I know the quote. You are missing my point.
