Hey guys any suggestions on this. I am currently needing to prove my location in Australia for dtv application however the immigration office is asking for a stamp on my passport showing that I’ve entered Australia as I applied for the dtv when I wasn’t in the country. Australia doesn’t do physical stamps they do it electronically.

I’ve applied to get record of movement from Australian immigration but they are taking for ever, are there any other ways of proving my location?

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking alternative methods to prove their location in Australia for a DTV application, as Australian immigration requires a passport stamp upon entry that they cannot provide due to Australia's electronic system. Advice from comments suggests that the required documentation actually pertains to Thai immigration stamps, not Australian ones. Suggestions include obtaining official movement records, using utility bills as proof of address, and clarity on the immigration requirements.

you should be in Australia when you first applied and still there now. They ask for a simple request to show the stamps in your passport.

So which country are you in now?

Use a utility bill and a driver's license that shows your physical address

They're asking for your Thailand stamp, not the Australian one.

Your application location, stamp, and travel story is as convoluted as your ability to comprehend the consulate request. Get your ducks and stamps in a row.

if you go to the Australian Border Force counters after the immigration gates (there should be a large group of Border Force officers, then anyone can ask for Australian Entry/Exit ink stamps in their passport

Do note, these Australian Border Force counters are BEFORE Baggage Claim carousels, but after the immigration gates

It sounds like you applied in Australia and then left Australia. You can't do that

So you applied when you were out of country and now are in Australia or are you not yet in Australia?
