TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 30-day extension on a 60-day exempt visa, you typically need to prepare documents including a TM30 receipt, which indicates you're registered in the area served by the immigration office. Note that requirements may vary by office, as there are over 80 immigration offices in Thailand, and it's advisable to check the specific list provided at your local immigration office.

This is a general list of things required to get a 30 day extension on a 60 day visa exempt or 60 day tourist visa entry stamp. Remember there are over 80 offices in the country so what yours requires might be a bit different

More and more offices are requiring that you have a TM30 receipt (showing you're registered as staying in the area served by the immigration office)
