Hello all, I enter Thailand on a tourist visa before, and then I changed to a student visa. After the student visa expires and then stayed on a COVID-19 visa. Can I still apply for a COVID-19 visa this time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of applying for a COVID-19 visa in Thailand after having previously held a tourist visa, shifted to a student visa, and then stayed in the country under a COVID-19 visa. A comment indicated that while it is possible to apply, there might be significant challenges, including the possibility of not being approved due to changes in visa extension rules.
You can apply, but as it is mentioned no more Extension of Stay based on unable to travel for people having a Non Immigrant Visa, you will most likely get the not approved stamp and 7 days to leave the country.
would you get that stamp from the day you go to immigration (even if you still have, let's say 14 days left on your current COVID extention) or would you get the 7 days to leave after your visa expires? Thank you!!!
just be aware there's now another thread just above this one where the immigration officer simply refused to accept the application so no 7 days available. You only get that if they accept the application and deny it. This person now has to leave today as he was on his final day of current stamp
