TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, there is no official limit on how long you can stay in a calendar year as long as you have the appropriate visa or extension stamps, allowing for a possible stay of 365 days or more. The specifics depend on visa type: for example, visitors with multiple tourist visa exemptions may stay for varying lengths depending on discretion of immigration officers. Some options allow for indefinite stays, particularly for individuals over 50 with a stable income or money in a Thai bank.

Depends on your visa type..

If you maximise two visa exemptions in a row and stay for 180 days, the rest would easily become a gamble.

Past 50 years and monthly income/pension equal to min 65K baht or 800K baht in a thai bank, you can stay for life at date. (Non immigrant visa and extension of stay)

There is no official limit. If you have the relevant visa or extension stamps you can stay 365 days.

If you are trying to stay for a year on tourist visas or exempt entries they you can do as many of those that the immigration officer you hand you passport to allows. 2,3,4? Who knows it’s their decision.
