We need to extend our Visa however can anybody explain to me why Jomptein Immigration want a letter or contract signed by the place of stay confirming we have stayed at the Condo.. They say we should of got this within 24hrs of arrival...We have never needed this before..
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Jomtien Immigration office requires a letter or contract from your condo confirming your stay as part of the TM30 notification process. Although this may not have been required in the past, it is now mandatory to avoid fines and meet immigration regulations. The condo management is responsible for notifying immigration within 24 hours of your arrival, and failure to comply can result in a fine, in addition to needing this documentation for visa extensions.
