Am a visa newbie (as such) and on my first ever 60 day visa.
Question is if I want to extend by another 30 making it 90 days (will be in Bangkok more than likely) I need my passport and what else?
I have googled this and getting mixed reports.
At the moment I do not have a flight out of Thailand booked. Would I need to show a ticket or proof of a flight out at the 90 day period?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 60-day visa to 90 days in Thailand, you will need your passport and possibly other documents like a passport photo and a completed application form. The fee for the extension is around 1900 baht. You may be advised to use a smaller immigration office for quicker service. Regarding flight proof, it's unclear, so it's best to check the specific requirements at the time of your application.

If at all possible I would recommend that you use a smaller provincial immigration office, in Trat a tourist visa extension takes around 10 minutes but in CW it could take a couple of hours depending on how many people are in the queue.
yes but the OP stated that he will more than likely be in Bangkok which means he maybe somewhere else. Now if he is somewhere else it would more than likely be quicker to use a smaller provincial immigration than the trek and wait at CW, which is why i made my suggestion.
you have to use an address IN the area where you use the immigration office <- meaning IF the O/P stays in bangkok they can't use a Trat immigration office for their extension :/
Passort, got, copy can get, passport photo, got loads, 1900 baht, can do. Just got to get the form , i take it i can get a copy from a website and download?
Ok good as I dont have a flight out booked. Surprised i wasn't asked when I flew in from Phnom Penh . I have the 60 day visa (single entry?) UK passport by the way.
