Hi everyone, if I want to extend my tourist visa (60+30) for the last 30 days, is Chavengwattana the only place in Bangkok I can do it? Or are the other options to go to?

Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 60-day tourist visa in Bangkok, you can only go to the main immigration office located at Chaengwattana (Building B) for the 30-day extension. It's advisable to make an online appointment before visiting to expedite the process.

you can make an appointment online here at this link, then show up with your paperwork already done about 15 minutes before the appt, go straight to Section J, make someone inside the cubbyz notice you're there WITH an appt confirmation email print out and get seen right away. That's about the fastest you can do it

here's the link for the online appt booking

make sure you print out that email confirmation,

this is what you are likely to require out there for the extension

There are copy/photo shops in the basement of the building.

Good luck with it (y)

reporting -

Everything went smooth and really quick. They do not ask for a printed online appointment email anymore. When you are in the queue, the officer is asking who is booked online and letting you go straight to the counter. I walked in 8:24 and walked out with my passport and extended stay stamp at 8:49. I could finish even a few minutes earlier if I had TM7 filled out in advance.

Thank you very much for advising me about online booking! ☀️

Yep if you’re on the 60 day tourist visa that’s the only office you can get it in Bangkok.

If you have a real tourist visa that you got from a thai consulate before you came here and were stamped in for 60 days and you stay in Bangkok you can ONLY go to the main immigration office out at the government complex (Building B) on Chaengwattana Road for the 30 day extension.
