Hi All, Came in on a tourist visa in December last year. My health insurance is expiring on the 18th this month but my visa stamp is until the 26th. I am looking to extend soon and of course I need insurance to be able to extend for another 30 days, but I can just buy insurance from the same insurer from overseas (ACS) again that starts from the 18th for another one/two months or is there something else specific that I have to buy? Main purpose is for visa extension.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is inquiring about needing health insurance for a 30-day extension of their tourist visa in Thailand, as their current insurance expires before their visa. Several comments clarify that health insurance is not required for the extension, although it is advisable to have it. The user eventually decides to extend their visa with the same insurance provider.
