I’m due for my 45 day exempt extension and have just received my new passport as it was near expiration.

1) are there any specific things I need to bring to transfer my 45 day exempt stamp to the new passport?

2) is there anything Udon Thani immigration requires specifically for extensions (TM 30, Rental agreement, maps to house, etc?)

I’m quite familiar with extensions on Samui but it will be my first in Udon Thani.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer your 45-day exempt stamp to your new passport in Udon Thani, you will need to bring both your old and new passports, a letter from your embassy, and a TM 30 form. Additionally, bring your rental agreement, passport photos, and the extension fee of ฿1,900. It's advisable to dress smartly, fill out the necessary paperwork, and make copies of your documents. Be prepared for the process to take some time.

Bring your old passport and your new one to immigration, a tm30 form 2 passport pics, ฿1,900 baht, dress smartly and fill out the paperwork at the immigration office (pro tip make copies of paperwork) be relaxed because it could take all day to get the extension… you can bring your rental agreement, because more paperwork is always better needed and not used than needed and not have ….good luck

You should get a letter with your new passport, take it to Immigration with both passports and your extension will go in your new passport.

You should have a letter from your embassy asking to please transfer your stamp
