I’m currently on my 45 day passport stamp and would like to get 30 day extension. What paperwork do I need to take with me when I apply?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 30-day extension on your 45-day passport stamp in Thailand, you'll need to prepare specific paperwork. The general requirements include: your passport, a passport size photo, signed copies of your passport information page and entry stamp in blue ink, and a printed copy of your visa (if you have one). Additionally, you should bring 1,900 baht for the fee. It's recommended to go early, fill out three forms at the office, and ensure your hotel has filed a TM30 form for your residence. Attendance in proper attire is advised.

In Bangkok from a visa exempt entry you use IT Square, Laksi Plaza. 3rd floor. Desk K. Whether you will need a filed TM30 is debatable. Some with previous entry history and/or covid extensions have said they been asked many others haven’t. No need to show onward flight information for a 30 day extension.

The TM 7 and 2 forms on which you acknowledge your understanding and agreement to Thai law & the penalties of overstay etc...
dress smart & smile politely. You'll be fine. Don't be paranoid.
hi Phil, sorry to bother you. I get a bit paranoid at times, but I want to do what I can to make this process go smoothly. Do I fill out a TM7 before I get there? I have an appointment 11 April at 8:45. Also what do most people use as reason for extension? I don’t want to be turned down for that. “I want to see more of the country” good enough or do I need something like “I’m thinking about living here”? Also my landlady refused to fill out the TM30. She gave me a copy of her passport, rental agreement, and one other thing. Oh, do I sign the required documents in front of the agent ? I just want this right. You have been so helpful. Thanks

Phil Anders what three forms do I need to get before the appointment? I saw that in your above reply. I like your “reason.”
I don’t have a copy sod the TM 30 ; I explained to landlady she just won’t fill one out.
Also I have an appointment scheduled for 8:45 in morning. Do I need all document signed before or at appointment. You said there is a copy machine and a place for pics there? Do you know what time it opens?
hi Phil, I have been busy and haven’t been to immigration yet. I have all the above forms except TM 30 - my landlady here gave me her passport page pic, the lease agreement, and residence information. Anyway do I need a good reason to stay if asked? Just wondering what most folks say. Thanks
thanks for you help. To clarify do I need to get my T30 from the condo/hotel or will immigration already have it? So I need to make copies of the above documents and then sign them with blue pen? What is a T6, someone mentioned that. Is it better to make an appointment? I’m in Sathorn Bangkok.
