How do I transfer my visa stamp to a new passport while doing a land border bounce in Thailand?
My new passport came today and I'm a bit confused about transferring over my stamp.
I plan to do a land border bounce next week. I am on a 30 day extension from a 45 day visa exemption stamp. Do I need to go to immigration to do the transfer or can I do this at the border? I have both passports and embassy letter.

Answer summary
The user is seeking guidance on transferring their visa stamp to a new passport in Thailand, specifically while planning a land border bounce. They currently hold a 30-day extension from a 45-day visa exemption stamp and are unsure whether this process should be handled at immigration or at the border. A comment from another user highlights that if the extension was obtained via the eExtension online system, it cannot be transferred and requires showing both passports upon exit.

Okay we got to the bottom of why after a visit to BOTH Chaengwattana & IT Square Laksi Plaza
That's because he does not have an extension "stamp" 😮 He used the online eExtension system to get a STICKER stuck into his passport and he did indeed go to Chaengwattana for it (y) . 🙂
The eExtension stickers (and the information they contain) can't be transferred to a new passport, you show both passports when you stamp out of the country
Good luck to the O/P on their departure tomorrow (y) Thanx for working with me to figure out WTH was going on. I am so sorry to have sent you out to get that extension moved 😕 Apologies
