TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a second 30-day visa extension in Thailand, it is typically required that passport size photos be from within the last six months. However, some individuals report using older photos until they run out. It's advisable to have extra photos printed in advance for future visa-related transactions, as they are often needed.

They require a photo for most every transaction.

I got 12 printed last time for future use.

Officially the photos must be from within the last 6 months. But I just use photos until I run out.
