I am applying for the marriage visa for Thailand as a non o coming into the country, on the official Evisa website of Thailand. On the purpose of staying in Thailand there isn’t a specific box for a “spouse or partner” does anyone know which is the correct box to choose from ?

I am married to a Thai national for 15+ years we have a Australian marriage certificate and was certified by the Australian embassy in Bangkok in early this year, but we were told you can’t hold two marriages certificate in Thailand Kor 2 & Kor 3 does anyone know more information about the marriage visa, kind regards Thank You!
Answer summary
The user is applying for a marriage visa (NON-O) for Thailand and is unsure which option to select for the purpose of stay on the eVisa website, as there is no specific box for ‘spouse or partner’. Other users clarify that you should select ‘To stay with Thai family residing in Thailand (more than 60 days)’. Additionally, the user mentions issues regarding holding two marriage certificates in Thailand and the necessary steps to register their Australian marriage certificate in Thailand.

You only get a Kor Ror 3 if you get married in Thailand which you can't be as you were married in Australia. There are various steps you need to go through to register an overseas marriage inside Thailand which starts in Australia by getting the certificate authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs, then authorised by the Thai embassy in Australia. Once n Thailand get it translated then get that certified by the MFA and finally take it to your local Amphur and get a Kor Ror 2
