Hello everyone,

I am going to attend a 2-month meditation retreat in Thailand.

This will be my first trip abroad. I am confused with the information found on google.

1. Please help me in understanding the steps involved in getting a visa .

1. What documents shall I have?

1. Do I need to book flight ticket first or not?

1. Do I have to get an insurance?

1. Anything else you have to suggest?

p.s. 1. I have an Indian passport.

2. I have tentative dates for my trip.

You’ll need to apply to the embassy/consulate closest to you. Check their website for requirements for a tourist visa to enter Thailand. You don’t need insurance, but it’s a good idea to have.
