I would like to inquire about the salary requirements for extending a non-immigrant O-extension visa, specifically for individuals with a Thai child. It is my understanding that a minimum monthly salary of 40,000 Thai Baht is typically required for such extensions.

My question pertains to a scenario where the gross monthly salary is 40,000 Thai Baht, but the net salary, after deductions for taxes, social security, and provident fund, amounts to approximately 33,000 Thai Baht. In this situation, would it still be possible to renew the visa?

Furthermore, if I can obtain an official letter from my employer stating monthly salary of 40,000 Thai Baht, despite the net amount deposited into my bank account being around 33,000 Thai Baht, would this documentation be sufficient for the visa extension process?
Summary so far
The inquiry revolves around the salary requirements for extending a NON-O visa for individuals with a Thai child, specifically questioning if a gross salary of 40,000 THB is sufficient when the net amount after deductions is approximately 33,000 THB. Responses indicate that the immigration office requires a net income of 40,000 THB per month and that an employer's letter will not suffice; an income affidavit from the embassy or a significant bank deposit is typically necessary.

for the application to the 1-year extension based on the support of a half Thai child, the financial requirement is either an income affidavit of your embassy in Bangkok over a monthly minimum of 40,000 THB (net figure), or a deposit of a minimum of 400,000 THB in your Thai bank account. An "official letter from my employer" will not be accepted by Immigration. You need a legalized income affidavit from your embassy. Maybe a 12-months bank statement over consecutive minimum 40,000 transfers into your account will be accepted, however I doubt it, because in this case, many Immigrations only accept income that is legally earned inside Thailand

Given you have to show the income of 40k baht per month in your bank statements I can't see how that would work. You'll need to use the 400k method

Any amount of funds for a visa/extension is net, not gross.
