TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the expiration date of their visa in relation to travel plans to Thailand, emphasizing a need to travel before the 18th of August. Community responses indicate that the visa is valid for 60 days from the date of entry, as long as entry occurs before the visa expiration date (18 August). There are suggestions for actions regarding visa extensions and how long the Thai embassy in Paris may take to process a visa.

Yes I know where and how to apply for it and did it several times already.

I just asked you because this embassy is known to take a long time before issuing the visa (4 or 5 weeks and sometimes longer).

Thanks for the information.

Yes. Enter until 18 August at the latest. And when you do, be stamped in for 60 days.

If you would like to travel on the 8th of august, you can travel until the 6th of october. And if you want to stay longer you can buy 30 days extension for 1900.-THB at the immigration where you stay.

Example: If you enter on August 18, you will be stamped in for 60 days (including the day of arrival) - so stamped in until October 16.
