Hi all, Iโ€™m curious about the 60 day covid visa

Itโ€™s my first post in the group

I have a Canadian passport and my current tourist visa expires July 15.

I heard mention about a TR 30?

Iโ€™m living in close to Phra Khanong BTS. What is required and where do I need to go in my area for the covid visa

Thanks in advance for the help ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about the possibility of a 60-day COVID visa. However, there is no specific COVID visa; instead, individuals can apply for a 30-day Extension of Stay based on tourism. It's emphasized that one must apply for this extension before their tourist visa expires, in this case, by July 15. The responses indicate that the individual can visit the IT Square Laksi Plaza immigration office to apply and provided links for appointments and general information on the 30-day extension process.

Are you aware that you have only 3 days left to apply? Immigration is closed 13-15 July.

If you were stamped for 30 days only, You are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, just next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line.

You will go here.

And you can book online here

General information for 30 days tourism extension is here. Bangkok doesn't ask for a TM30 receipt for a standard tourism extension usually.

Photo & copy shops are just around the immigration office, fyi.

There is no Covid Visa, there is an Extension of Stay based on being unable to travel due to Covid. Just to mention it.

If you entered Thailand using a Tourist Visa and are stil in the first 60 days of your Admitted to Stay period, you must first apply for the usual 30 day Extension of Stay based on Tourism.

yes I live in Hong Kong and the Q hotel situation is a mess. My Canadian passport only affords me 30 days up next week.

If you can, please tell me where in my area I need to go apply. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
