Hi from England, I hope to visit Thailand in October for 30 days. It will be my 3rd visit this year. I first arrived in March, for 30 days. The 2nd time was July, for 21 days. Will I need a visa or will I be ok on normal tourist visa. Thank you for your advice and help, Ian

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether they will need a visa for their third visit to Thailand, as they plan to stay for 30 days again in October. They have previously visited twice this year, staying for 30 days in March and 21 days in July. Multiple comments from the community suggest that the user will be fine under the Visa Exemption status, as they have not overstayed and are returning after a significant break between visits. They can receive a 60-day visa exemption upon arrival and may extend their stay at a local immigration office if needed.
Thank you everyone, you have all been very helpful. My plan is to stay in Thailand for 24 to 30 days and then travel to Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan spending 4 to 5 days in each country. Finally to the Philippines for 14 days visiting old work colleague. Thank you all, you have put me at ease.
My understanding is that the visa resets when you leave the kingdom. If you ever wanted to extend your stay it’s only a visit to an immigration office and your all set for a further 30 days on top if your initial award of 60 days
You have nothing to worry about, you are a bread and butter tourist, I visit four times a year two weeks at a time, stay at local hotels, use their national airline, soon they will put out a red carpet for people like you and me. It's people who try and abuse the system who has problems with immigration.
You'll get a 60 day visa exemption on arrival. No visa required. If you need another 30 days extension the local immigration will charge you 1900 baht at any time during your stay.
Normal tourist you will be fine. You haven't stayed full 60 days on any of your visits and you are away months at a time between visits so it should be no problem.
