OA Visa 1 year multiple entry – 2ND YEAR QUESTION –
IF I have an OA MULIPOLE ENTRY Visa EXPIRES NOVEMBER 30,2023. If I enter the Kingdom on November 29th, 2023….
1) Will I get a stamp allowing me to stay for one more year, for example until November 28th 2024?
How do re-entries work during this 2nd year?
2) Can I leave and re-enter on this original OA visa or is the visa cancelled/expires as soon as I leave after November 29th, 2023?
2) Will this “2nd year” allow multiple entries?
3) Do I need to get a re-entry permit every time I leave the Kingdom in 2024?
TLDR : Answer Summary
If you enter Thailand on November 29, 2023, with an OA multiple entry visa, you will receive a stamp extending your stay until November 28, 2024. You are allowed to leave and re-enter during this second year as long as you obtain a re-entry permit each time to maintain your visa status. To have multiple entries, you should buy a multiple-entry re-entry permit. Additionally, insurance is required for the second year, valid for the length of your stay.
