Hi. Im currently on my second year of my OA visa. If i leave and return before it expires will i get stamped in for another free year (no money into Thai bank) or will it have to expire and i will have to apply for the extension whatever i do. Thankyou all.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can receive another free year on their OA visa if they leave Thailand and return before its expiration. Responses indicate that leaving and re-entering requires buying a reentry permit, after which the validity of the visa is contingent on the original expiration date on the visa sticker. If the visa sticker is still valid upon re-entry, they can be stamped in for another year, assuming they meet the health insurance requirements. If the visa has expired, they can stay until their entry stamp expires but must apply for an extension with sufficient funds in a Thai bank account.
