TLDR : Answer Summary
The border pass for entry into Myanmar from Ranong costs around $10 and allows limited travel to the Myawaddy region. Confusion exists regarding the duration of stay; some sources suggest it is valid for one day, while others indicate it may extend up to two weeks. For longer stays, a full Myanmar eVisa can be obtained online, allowing for stays of up to 30 days.

Coming in by Sea as we do yes. We also clear Thai immigration the same way. No idea if it can be done by land or air?

, no worries

They get you stamped in and out of burma on a 'day pass" for $10USD (500baht). I just didn't know if they sold real visas-on-arrival on the burma side or not.

I assumed that was what the Andaman club visa run was? I've never used it myself. Is it just a day pass thing though? I've really no idea mate.

If I was to use the Adaman Club thing to bounce into Burma in Ranong would I be able to buy the visa when I hit burma? It's a sea crossing into burma

, didn't you say you can get "real" 30 day visas to burma at the Ranong crossing?

It's not a "visa" it's a border pass, which costs 500b (or $10 if you're lucky) and limits your travel to Myawaddy. A real Myanmar (e)visa can otherwise be done online @

No, I believe IF you take the boat over you can either get a $10USD (500baht) day pass OR you can BUY a real visa there for 30 days too

it's 10USD for the "day pass", it's way more for a real 30 day visa

I think you can BUY a visa on arrival to Burma that lets you stay up to a month right where you get off the boat
