Planning to do visa run from Hua Hin next week . Any advice on how to do that? I think Myanmar is the easiest and closest from here...

Edit :... and planning to go with a van to avoid flying!

If the passport switch is to hide your stay inside Thailand, then do not worry about it. The Immigration Database will link the passports based on your fingerprints, name, dob, gender, facial recognition.The complete history will be on screen not matter which passport you use.

Wrong choice of planning, as a passport change can only be done using a plane. It can not be done at land borders.

Check the cheapest air ticket from whatever airport you want to fly out. You cannot switch your passports at land border crossing, with or without visa.

You go to the airport, use the passport with the entry stamp to exit.

Change passports during the flight

Use the passport to enter the country of destination, apply for the visa and fly back to Thailand to use the passport and visa to enter Thailand.
