Has anyone used the crossing at Ranong to leave and reset the DTV? Or is it closed?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Ranong land border crossing to Kawthaung, Myanmar is currently open, allowing foreigners to perform visa runs to reset their DTV (Tourist Visa) and receive a new stamp valid for up to 180 days. Users have confirmed successfully using this crossing recently, and it is advisable to use a border bounce service for a smooth experience.

I did it last week with no problems. I went from Koh Tao with a visa run/border bounce company.

I think that is indeed wise to do with an experienced service.

A month ago when I was in Ranong I liked to do a day trip to Myanmar, not because I need a new stamp but just for fun.

The locals advised not to do because it should be unsafe, so we decided not to go.

I think what you're asking is can you bounce out/back at the Ranong / Kawthaung border with burma to get a new 180 day entry on your DTV

No issue at all doing that. Right now that's the only "land" border with Burma that's open to foreigners

How do you think that Thai Immigration can RESET your Email account?

I guess what you want to do is LEAVE Thailand, stamp in neighbor country, stamp out neighbor country and get a NEW Admitted to Stay period of maximum 180 days when you enter Thailand.

Sorry, new stamps in passport, not a reset of older stams or e-mails

Ranong landborder is open.

When somebody talks about resetting a DTV, it is obvious he has not the faintest idea how a visa works.

It should be a good thing that people do some investigation themselves.
