Hello I just need a confirmation,

The 28th of April I will do a Visa run to kanchanaburi Ban phu nam ron, multi entry non o visa based on marriage, need my 90 days stamp.

Planning on doing it with my own car.

Do I have to leave my car at the Thai border or can I cross the border by car?or what's the most convenient thing to do.

Will I get a one day visa for Myanmar for 500tbh on the border right?

Any advice from someone who already did it?

Thanks in advance

I was there a few weeks ago. It is possible to take your own car. Also there is a parking area and a visa and transport service at the border which is very convenient and not too expensive. They never asked to see funds or onward ticket.

, i drove last week, the road is in great conditions, then you can easily park right before the border, do the border crossing and coming back with the 900bath process already explained.all very easy and smooth even if nobody could speak english i had 0 problems.

I project to drive my own car to bangkok-kanchanburi to border? Good road? Have a parking in the border? Thanks again

The bus or minivan to Kanchanaburi is easy and quick. From the new South bus station. The bus from Kanchanaburi to the border is a very old, very slow bus. Maybe there is a minivan or taxi.

As long as you don't have TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land this year you're okay to border bounce there. :)

It was an easy trip for me.

@Andy *******
thank so it s now the best solution to do a border visa run from bangkok!

Yes. It took about 30 minutes total. There are two very small shops ( tin shacks ) to buy alcohol and cigarettes and some other things.

@Andy *******
thank you, so the price is 900 thb and about 1-1h30 all include? Have a market border to buy alchool or cigarets? Thank you

I had a visa exempt stamp which had been extended at an immigration office in Thailand, for thirty days. I stamped out of Thailand and into Myanmar. Then back into Thailand on a new thirty day visa exempt stamp. This is not a visa.

Hello, Is it possible to do a simple visa run and get 30 days? I don t have a multiple entry visa. Thanks
Andy ********
The 900 baht fee also includes your visa for entry to Myanmar and the minivan ride. It is possible to arrange to take your vehicle into Myanmar, at the border point if you have the correct paperwork.

Great Armando Allegri, thank you

You cant take a Thai car into Myanmar, without approval in advance. Much easier drive to Phu Nam Ron, park your car. Exit Thailand, there is a small shop on the left past the border checkpoint. Pay them 900 baht and give them your passport. Wait for the next minivan to take you to the Myanmar checkpoint. Whole process takes around 1 hour.

The road in Thailand is new and good condition. As you enter Myanmar there is a distinct change to a dirt track. And a very cheap fuel station.
