Does anyone have experience filling out the online Immi application for Australia?
My wife has previously had a visa to Australia which expired in 2018. Will we need to have all documents translated again or will the previous ones still be valid in the system?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is inquiring about the reapplication process for an Australian visa, specifically asking whether documents from a previous visa are still valid or need to be translated again. Various commenters share their experiences, indicating that generally, all documents must be current and in English for a successful application. Some express frustrations about the high costs and thorough documentation required for different visa types, emphasizing the complexity involved in the application process, particularly for spouse or marriage visas.
Hi Barry. I have just obtained marriage visa and permanent residency for my wife. Took 4 months 1 week. It has to be done right so if you wish help we are set up to do so. Just message if you want help.
Not talking about me mate. My wife has a 3 year ME Tourist visa. Even if she flies back to thailand every 3 months to re actuvate it , its still cheaper than the application fee and the bullshit agent fees on top.
90k huh? $4k AUD ... Agents in Oz much cheaper than that.
Ive been told by agents in Aust not to apply unless you've lived in the same house for at least 2 years, share bank accounts and legal proof you both share living expenses, have a will drawn up, have eachother as benefactors on insurance, superannuation, etc and sworn statements from 6 people you've known all your life that your marriage is genuine.
If you're talking about tourist visa then yes. All documents need to be current and in english. My wife has applied twice successfully. She provided all documents needed in both languages. Any translations need to be certified.
