ORIGINAL POSTER
My husband's Australian passport will expire before our visa (retirement)I was told that if the passport is expired, so does the visa.

But I thought we could get the visa transferred to the new passport?

Added complication my son & I follow on his visa.

I'd love some info/advice ๐Ÿค”

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's husband has a retirement visa linked to his Australian passport, which will expire soon. They are seeking clarification on whether the visa can be transferred to a new passport, especially given that the user's son and herself are following on the husband's visa.
