TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a 90-day Non-Immigrant visa (potentially Non-O based on marriage) from the Thai embassy in the UK, it's crucial to provide proof of sufficient funds. Most commenters agree that a recent bank statement showing a balance equivalent to THB 400,000 (about £10,000) is necessary. It's recommended that the bank statement be the latest one in PDF format, not screenshots, and ideally, the funds should be in a Thai bank account in your name. Additionally, application procedures should be followed as per guidance on the Thai e-visa site.

You apply from the UK but it’s an e-visa site in Thailand:

Follow the instructions, pay the fee and they will get back to you if they require more information. Proof of funds should be covered by a copy of a bank statement dated on the day of submission. Download the PDF as you have already been advised.

£10k as final balance in your latest bank statement, you must upload the pdf file of your bank statement not a screen shot. MUST be a statement from a UK bank.

Assuming you're applying for a 90 day Non-O based on marriage yes
he said 400k THB, so Im presuming it's for non o based on marriage, which, as far as I know, need to be deposited in a Thai bank. Looks like I'm mistaken, sorry
