TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the necessity of having a minimum of 500,000 Thai baht or its equivalent in a bank account as proof of funds for visa applications. Many responses clarify that pay stubs or income from employment in the US do not suffice, and only liquid funds in a bank account can be presented as proof. Individuals are advised to save the required amount before applying.

Step 1...save up ~$15k usd, it's good to have 6 months of livings expenses in the bank anyway.

It says it’s possible for a financial sponsor if that’s possible for you but doesn’t guarantee you’d get approved from what I’ve seen

No, you will have to wait to apply until you have the equivalent of 500k saved up. There is NO way around that.

What do pay stubs have to do with anything? You need 500k thb or USD equivalent in savings. Your pay is irrelevant.

You've got to show PROOF of your bank account balance of at least 500,000 Thai baht or more.

if he says he doesn't have the money but is working, he's obviously looking for an alternative to having that amount, not the exact currency. 🙄
