Non O visa (spouse) approved within 4 working days, using the KL consulate.

Despite hearing they would be slower to get my visa approval, they were excellent and efficient.

400,000 in a bank account.

They are not accepting a monthly income unless 400,000 THB is available on a closing statement however, I did have to provide both.
Answer summary
A user reported that their NON-O visa (spouse) was approved within 4 working days at the KL consulate, despite prior warnings of delays. They mentioned needing 400,000 THB in a bank account and clarified that the consulate was not accepting monthly income as a substitute unless the amount was confirmed on a closing statement.
