Hello all. Can anyone provide an updated list of the requirements for a Non-O 1 year extension based on marriage to a Thai? Im due for a renewal in May. I plan to use the 400,000thb in a Thai bank account method to prove funds. I was under the impression that 400,000thb must be in the account for at least 2 months prior to the date I apply for the extension at CW. Although, I'm now reading 3 months certain places. Can anyone confirm which is correct along with any thing else that may have possibly changed regarding this extension? Appreciate and help. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for a Non-O 1 year extension based on marriage include having 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account in your name, maintained for at least 2 months prior to the application. There might be variations based on the immigration office, but the general rule is 2 months before the application, not 2 months from the expiration of the current extension. It's important to confirm with the local immigration office as they may have specific protocols.

With over 70 immigration offices in the country there is no one size fits all list sorry

It is exactly the same documents you provided last year :O OR you go out there and get the hand out that lists the requirements.

I can confirm with 100% certainty that C/W wants the 400k baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months BEFORE you apply for your extension (not 2 months from when your current extension expires ;) )

AND they will tell you when you apply for the year extension that you need to leave the money IN the account and update your bank book when you go back after the 30 day under consideration period to get the rest of the 11 months extension stamped into your passport.
