TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the documentation required to extend their son's tourist visa in Thailand by an additional 60 days. Comments from the community suggest that typically, tourist visa extensions are only 30 days unless it's a special COVID-related extension, which needs to be applied for before a certain date. Clarifications on the type of visa used for entry and any previous extensions received are also requested by other commenters.
Nonthaburi is hard core that you have proof you live/stay in their area (the TM30 receipt) so that and copies of the relevant pages in his passport, should do it

you said "by another 60 days" does that mean they already got one 60 day covid extension?
Did they already get their regular 30 day extension based on their 60 day tourist visa entry? AND where in thailand are they (as in what city)?
I was there on Thursday and asked if I could get the 60 day extension without first getting the 30 day since I only need 42 days. They said No I have to get 30 days first. So I have to go back in 2 weeks for a second extension
at most immigration offices, for people who entered tourist visas, you need to apply for a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism before being able to apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.
Generally for the 30 day extension of stay based on tourism you will need:
Your passport and a copy of:
1. The data (picture) page
2. The visa (if one was acquired before entry)
3. The entry stamp
4. The departure card
A copy of the TM30 that was filed at the house/ hotel that the person is staying at
2x passport photos
1,900 THB fee
Different immigration offices have different policies, and Iβm not sure what that immigration office requires.
