Good day to you all and thank you in advance for your time and your help.

What are the needed papers to get the 60 days family visit extension? I read that I should go with my thai husband and marriage certificate, is there anything more?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 60 days family visit extension in Thailand, you will need several documents. The primary requirement is to bring your Thai husband and your marriage certificate. It's also advisable to have your passport and a passport-sized photo. Some users suggest bringing a copy of your marriage certificate, your passport, and potentially a rental contract and identification for the rental, as these may be required depending on the immigration office.

Try to bring copies of marriage certificate, passport, etc and correctly sized photos... Sometimes they are quite difficult to get when there... Just an idea... 😊

If you’re married to a male Thai, why not get a one year extension of stay based on mariage? You do NOT need proof of finances.

@Benjamin *****
my visa 3 months marriage visa ended on 28th of april and when it was time to go to Samui there was no more boat running to go out of Koh Tao with certainty of being able to come back afterwards. And after calling them they said that if I used the amnesty then they can't do the year extension anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will try that first anyway and if it doesn't work as they already said then I ask for 60 days..

Ask them again... they may not have wanted to give you that extension because you were on amnesty.

There are 70 immigration offices in the country CALL or go to the immigration office you use and see what the list of requirements are. They vary depending on office

And yes, IF you are getting an extension based on marriage your thai husband goes with you :)
