TLDR : Answer Summary
A family of six on a two-month tourist visa in Thailand, expiring soon, is seeking advice on extending their stay by an additional two and a half months. Suggestions include traveling to Laos to obtain a new tourist visa valid for 60 days, which can potentially be extended for a further 30 days. They may also seek extensions directly from Thai immigration, depending on their nationality, with some only eligible for a 7-day extension.

easy way is to go to Laos and make there another tourist visa for 60 days with an option to extend for another 30 days. will give you all together 90 days to stay.

After optional 30-day extension you have to leave. Go to neighboring country Thai embassy/consulate to get another tourist visa.
